The Best Dressed Celebs of the Week : Ethnic Wear Alert!

ethnic wear

Another long week went by and Aiswarya Rai Bachchan is still ruling the fashion charts flaunting all the ethnic wear classics. We saw very less of Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone and we are kinda missing them, aren’t we? Sonam Kapoor gave us an interesting look and I am dying to wear a cotton saree with brogues! I bet they would look classy and sexy AF! Let’s take a look at the best dressed celebs of the week :

Aishwarya Rai in Ethnic Wear

Aishwarya looked absolutely drool worthy in Sabyasachi at the Sarbjit success bash. A gold colored heavily embellished salwar kameez was her pick for the night. She was also spotted in a white Sukriti and Aakriti outift. It looked pretty on her! Recently she was spotted in a white Anjali Jani shirt with a red Patine wrap around skirt. She nailed the look, though the bag could have been a different one.

Kalki Koechlin

Kalki wore an Anita Dongre co ord set to the premire of her new movie. Loved her look! The blazer and skirt combination was a superhit! Kalki also wore a Not so serious by Pallavi Mohan straight kurti with palazzos. It was a simple yet chic look!

Sonam Kapoor in Anavilla

Anavila saree with a bell sleeved crop top with brogues, perfect! Trust only Sonam to carry off this quirky outfit with ease! She looked superb! No complaints at all! After all she has her super talented sister as her stylist! Another outstanding look came in the form of a simple Anavila suit. Is Sonam changing her favorite designer to Anavila now?

Vidya Balan in Anavila

The damsel is back! Can’t wait to watch Teen, this friday! Vidya Balan is an actress par excellence and she proves it yet again, going by the trailer! She wore two Anavila sarees recently. Though I liked one look, the other didn’t impress us much. Guess which one was the better of the two!

Kareena Kapoor Khan in Vrisa

She’s is back from her vacation and the question still remains, is she preggers, is she not? Who cares about the gossip, as long as she looks this stunning in the Rahul and Shikha salwar kameez. Kareena makes Indian ethnic wear look effortless, chic and so stylish, doesn’t she?

Preity Zinta in Rimple and Harpreet Narula

Mrs Goodenough looked pretty in a navy Rimple and Harpreet Narula salwar suit. Though it wasn’t a summer friendly color, I wish Preity opts for more neutral shades. It’s been long since we saw her in anything pastel.

Divya Khosla Kumar in Malini Ramini

A grey and white Malini Ramani saree it was, for Divya. More than the outfit, I loved the way it was styled, The high neck blouse with AMrapali jewels looked lovely on the lady! Don’t miss the Bottega Veneta clutch!

Swara Bhaskar in Ethnic Wear

Swara is another Bollywood celeb, who loves to wear a lot of Indian clothes and we aren’t complaining. She rocks every outfit she wears. A navy Swati Vijaivargie brocade outfit with a multicolored scarf-like dupatta, which she paired with Amrapali jewelry, looked good on the diva! I can’t quite decide about her second look. She wore a lime yellow Diya Rajvvir salwar kameez, paired with chunky jewelry. She looked decent.

Rakul Preet in Ridhima Bhasin

Rakul Preet might not be a hit in bollywood, but she is a rage in Tollywood. She loked lovely in a Ridhima Bhasin pale green lehenga which she paired with Purab Paschim jewelry. A perfect Indian look!

Bipasha Basu in Sabyasachi

A lovely floral Sabyasachi saree with sindoor, was enough to make Bips look outstandingly sexy and beautiful! She appeared on the Kapli Sharma show, hand in hand with her husband and won a million hearts, all over, again!

This list can’t really be complete without a mention of this Shetty. She wore a white embroidered Abho Jaipur salwar kameez and needless to say, she looked resplendent.

Kajol in Saree

It’s so nice to see Kajol. Post Dilwale, we haven’t spotted her much. Recently she attended an event wearing a black Patine saree. Loved her hair and loved the way she looked! She wore Amrapali jewelry. Lovely!

Sonali Bendre in Anita Dongre

Sonali Bendre recently wore a red, RED Anita Dongre anarkali gown. I would have rather preferred a lighter shade on her, but she still managed to look stunning! Loved the styling.

Let’s hope we get to see more ethnic outings in the coming week! Cheers to all the divas and their stylists!
