Fitoor Trailer Out : Katrina and Tabu’s look Decoded

The first Bollywood trailer of the year and it got us excited! Aditya Rao Kapoor, Tabu and Katrina together! What can be better! From what it looks like, Fitoor is a romantic drama based loosely on Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. Abhishek Kapoor is directing the movie. Post Rock On and Kaipoche, we have our hopes riding high! If you ignore Katrina’s anglicized accent, the trailer is very intriguing! Another movie shot in the beautiful valleys of Kashmir and it couldn’t be more beautiful.
But no, we won’t go on and on about the trailer here 😉 Though we really loved it! Also, did you check out the new song? It’s Arijit SIngh again and I am hearing it on loop!

Let’s take a look at the leading ladies’ looks in the movie! Here are Katrina Kaif and Tabu’s Looks decoded:

Katrina Kaif : Katrina plays the role of Firdaus in Fitoor and from what it appears, she belongs to a super affluent family. She dresses up in business suit in a scene where she is shown working. She is also seen in a red lace mini dresses. All in all, Firdaus is powerful character. In the scenes with Tabu, Katrina looks every bit of a royal princess. Opulent sets, glamourous anarkalis and snowy mountains. The trailer captures our attention and so does Katrina. Katrina is looking breathtaking in the trailer. What I like most , is that she is spotted in many different looks. The white layered lehenga which she wears in the snow, or the grand red velvet lehenga, she stuns in both!  And the red hair. I am not sure why it was so important for her to color the hair red, for this role. Neverthless she looks stunning. Especially in the scene where she is all dolled up with a pasha on her head! Lovely!

Tabu : I cannot somehow accept Tabu, playing the role of Katrina’s mom . Tabu doesn’t look like Katrina’s mom. The role was originally offered to Rekha! And second thing is, Tabu in Kashmir, reminds me of Haider. And it is too soon to see Tabu again in a similar role. Tabu is looking lovely in Fitoor. Old, but beautiful! Classy to be precise. She looks royally royal ! Tabu can also be seen in a lot of whites, beiges and gold. She looks more like Kat’s sister! Just look at her. How gorgeous is she! Pearls, rubies, jhumkas adorn her, but even without those, she looks perfect in Fitoor!

Trailer Launch:

Just take a look at both of them together at the Trailer launch of Fitoor! Don’t they look perfect! Katrina wore an itsy-bitsy little white dress by Cushnie Et Ochs. IBut Tabu stole our hearts in a black dress. Nota fan of the heels, but she looked adorable!

Hopefully, this movie does justice to Dickens’. Great Exepctations is not an easy classic to adapt.
